Kinga Wojsław
In the project “Cukinia. Wall Painting”, initiated in March 2020, I bring nature from the outside into interior spaces, creating a contemplative backdrop for everyday life. Over the past five years, I have created dozens of wall paintings across the country. Inspired by rain, forests, and various forms of vegetation, I strive to create interior atmospheres that allow one to feel as if they are in a garden, orchard, or forest.
Currently, I am exploring the topic of painting walls with clay paint and experimenting with using this technique on canvas, which is both related to my fascination with the natural texture of clay and my desire to use healthy and ecological materials.
For a year now, I have been making my own handmade paper, on which I paint minimalist impressions of trees, fields and flowers. With this year's spring, I also began the adventure of obtaining my own natural pigments from wild-growing plants.
